Read The Science of Shopping-- Come prepared to discuss what was interesting to you. What kinds of ways has the shopping experienced changed or stayed the same since the article was written? With your group, decide what company/corporation you would like to analyze. Make sure it is a company that has a physical store near you. Due: Tuesday, March 12
Bring a printed copy of your complete draft of position paper for peer review. Come prepared for detailed evaluation of your peer's papers. Due: Tuesday, March 5th
Bring in a printed copy of the first three paragraphs of your argument paper. This should include introduction and background section. Make sure to include your specific thesis at the end of the introduction. Make sure that your background section helps establish the stakes of your argument. Due: 2/26
Bring in three additional notesheets, one for each of the main points of your argument paper. Make sure each one has at least seven bullet points/specific support. Bring in your background notesheet with any corrections that I indicated last class. Please email me as soon as possible if you still need help with your thesis Due: Tuesday February 19th

Complete a formatted works cited page with at least eight sources or your argument paper. Will be taken as a grade. If you use Easy Bib, make sure you double-check the results for accuracy. Also consider having a knowledgeable classmate check your work. Read "Preserving Yellowstone's Winter Wilderness." Come to class prepared to discuss what was helpful about the sample and what arguments were strongest. Underline and make marginal comments as you read.
